Terms and Conditions of Sale

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services provided by You Voyage Company ("we," "our," or "the Company"), including but not limited to tour bookings, accommodation reservations, transportation services, and activity arrangements within Morocco.

By making a booking or purchasing any service through our website or representatives, you ("the Client") agree to be bound by these terms in full.

2. Booking and Payment

2.1 Booking Confirmation

  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by You Voyage Company.
  • A booking is considered confirmed once a deposit (typically 30% of the total cost) has been received and a confirmation email has been sent.
  • Full payment is required at least 30 days prior to the departure date, unless otherwise agreed.

2.2 Payment Methods

We accept payment via:

  • Bank transfer (preferred for amounts over €500)
  • Credit/debit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express)
  • PayPal
  • Cash on arrival (for bookings under €200, by prior arrangement)

2.3 Pricing

  • All prices are quoted in Euros (EUR) or Moroccan Dirhams (MAD) and are subject to change until a deposit has been received.
  • Prices include VAT where applicable.
  • Prices do not include travel insurance unless explicitly stated.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

3.1 Cancellation by the Client

  • More than 30 days before departure: Full refund minus a 10% administrative fee.
  • 15–30 days before departure: 50% refund of the total amount paid.
  • 7–14 days before departure: 25% refund of the total amount paid.
  • Less than 7 days before departure: No refund.

3.2 Cancellation by the Company

You Voyage Company reserves the right to cancel a booking in exceptional circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest, insufficient participants for group tours). In such cases:

  • A full refund will be provided, or
  • An alternative date or itinerary will be offered at no additional cost.

3.3 No-Shows

Failure to arrive at the agreed meeting point or accommodation without prior notice will be treated as a no-show, and no refund will be issued.

4. Changes and Modifications

  • Clients may request changes to their booking subject to availability and additional costs.
  • Changes requested more than 30 days before departure: no fee.
  • Changes requested less than 30 days before departure: subject to a €50 modification fee plus any cost differences.

5. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering:

  • Trip cancellation and interruption
  • Medical expenses and emergency evacuation
  • Lost or delayed baggage
  • Personal liability

You Voyage Company is not liable for any costs incurred due to lack of insurance.

6. Client Responsibilities

  • Clients must hold valid passports with at least 6 months validity from the date of return.
  • Clients are responsible for obtaining any necessary visas prior to travel.
  • Clients must inform the Company of any medical conditions, dietary requirements, or mobility limitations at the time of booking.
  • Clients are expected to behave respectfully towards guides, drivers, accommodation staff, and local communities.

7. Liability and Limitations

7.1 Company Liability

You Voyage Company acts as an intermediary between clients and third-party service providers (hotels, transport companies, activity operators). While we carefully select our partners:

  • We are not liable for acts, errors, or omissions of third-party providers.
  • Our liability is limited to the total value of the services booked.
  • We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or changes caused by circumstances beyond our control (force majeure).

7.2 Client Liability

Clients are liable for any damage caused to accommodation, vehicles, or property during their trip and will be charged accordingly.

8. Health and Safety

  • Clients participate in activities at their own risk.
  • You Voyage Company provides safety equipment and guidance where appropriate but cannot guarantee against accidents or injuries.
  • Clients should consult their doctor regarding vaccinations and health precautions before traveling to Morocco.

9. Force Majeure

You Voyage Company is not liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, war, terrorism, epidemics, strikes, or government restrictions.

10. Complaints and Disputes

  • Any complaints must be reported immediately to your guide or our 24/7 support line so we can address the issue promptly.
  • Written complaints must be submitted within 30 days of trip completion.
  • We will investigate and respond within 14 days.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Moroccan and international data protection laws.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Morocco. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Marrakech, Morocco.
