Upon arrival in Marrakesh, you’ll be transferred to your hotel and check in. Take some time to relax and acclimate to the local environment, enjoying the sights and sounds of the vibrant city at your own pace.
In the evening, meet your Tour Manager for a brief orientation to the itinerary and upcoming excursions. Tonight, enjoy a welcome dinner at the hotel and get ready for the adventures ahead.
Start your day with a walking tour of Marrakesh, exploring the city’s most iconic sites. Visit the Koutoubia Mosque, a 12th-century landmark with a stunning minaret dominating the skyline. Continue into the Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and discover the Dar el Bacha Palace & Museum, home to beautiful Moroccan art and intricate zellige tilework.
Stroll through the vibrant souks, where artisans sell textiles, jewelry, spices, pottery, and more. After the city tour, drive into the scenic Ourika Valley in the Atlas Mountains. Stop in a traditional Berber village, where you’ll be welcomed into a local home and enjoy a tea ceremony with freshly brewed mint tea.
Next, visit Anima Garden, a botanical and artistic masterpiece by Austrian artist Andre Heller. Wander along shaded pathways lined with exotic plants, roses, bamboo groves, and palm trees, discovering artworks seamlessly integrated into the landscape.
Return to Marrakesh for an overnight stay at your hotel.
Today, take a full-day excursion to the coastal city of Essaouira, famous for its historic medina, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a prime example of a fortified North African town.
Along the way, stop at a local argan oil cooperative to learn about traditional methods of extracting argan oil and see artisans at work. Once in Essaouira, walk along the city’s ramparts near Moulay Hassan Square, where local artists display their paintings and crafts. Continue to the Skala de la Ville, an old fortification built along the cliffs that once defended the city from sea attacks.

Return to Marrakesh in the late afternoon for your overnight stay at the hotel.
Today, depart from Marrakesh and journey toward Ouarzazate, a desert city at the gateway to the Sahara. Along the way, enjoy the scenic landscapes of the Atlas Mountains and stop for lunch en route.
In the afternoon, visit Ait Benhaddou, a historic ksar (fortified city) along an ancient caravan route and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore its maze-like alleys, desert-dusted kasbahs, and admire the unique architecture that has made it a popular filming location for many movies.
Next, take a tour of the Atlas Film Studios in Ouarzazate, one of the largest film studios in the world, where sets from famous films like Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, and Game of Thrones were built.
Check into your hotel in Ouarzazate and enjoy dinner at the hotel.
Today, depart from Ouarzazate and head toward Tinghir to explore the spectacular Todra Gorge, where sheer cliffs rise up to 984 feet, creating an awe-inspiring canyon. Take time to walk along the gorge floor, admire the rock formations, and enjoy the breathtaking natural scenery.

Today, depart from Ouarzazate and travel back to Marrakesh by air-conditioned coach. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and take some time to relax.
In the afternoon, experience the tranquility of a palm oasis just outside Marrakesh. Enjoy a Berber-style camel ride through the valley of lush palm groves, taking in the serene scenery. Afterward, skilled henna artists will apply intricate designs on your hands using natural henna paste, a traditional Moroccan art form.
